Straight Truck Driver

Spin Freight is looking for full time or part time straight truck drivers to join our rapidly growing team! Drivers provide local freight pickup and delivery around the KC Metro, driving a 26' box truck. Most freight is retrieved from the airport area and delivered around town. Most freight picked up around KC delivers to the airport area.

We deliver most any type of freight, but 50% of our shipments involve at least one of the following: lift gate, inside delivery, unpack, etc. This is NOT a "no-touch" freight position. You will regularly use a pallet jack.

Part Time or Full Time Flexible Shifts: M-F with start times ranging from 9am to 11am with opportunities for overtime.

Hourly pay starts at $21 and is based on experience.

The ideal candidate will meet the following:

• MUST HAVE at least 2 years VERIFIABLE city driving experience in a commercial vehicle

• strong knowledge of the city and utmost concern to operate safely

• personal smart phone with GPS, and phone headset

• no DUI's last 7 years

• TSA Background check required for air freight, drug screen

• no more than 2 moving violations in the last 5 years

• ability to deliver to military bases and schools

• must be able to safely lift 80lbs

• availability days M-F, flexible start times

• availability to occasionally work an evening or half shift on the weekend
